Datia is 75 km from  on the road to Orchha then, it deserves a stop ,of lake and of greenery, draws up itself on a rock eminence, a forgotten palate. The  Govind Palace, build by  King Bir Singh Deo in  about 1620.

Its  architectecture style an amalgamation of  Mughol and Rajput, is spread majestically  on five stages. It is a building of squat, square form; it was built beautiful blocks of red sandstone whose major colours form a contrast photogenic with the cérulé sky ,made conspicuous by a high tower. . . Elegant domes and pinnacles punctuate massive architecture and reduce it.

Not a very crowded place ,and hence one can take pleasure to stroll with his ease to impregnate this strange environment, out of time.
