Places to Visit:
Sikkim's main attractions are the panoramic view of the Eastern Himlayas and Buddhist monasteries of historical relevance.

Tsuk - La - Khang , the Royal Chapel is the main place of Buddhist worship. The interior wears a lovely ornamented look with murals, Tantric deities, fine wood carvings, Bodhisattvas and Buddha's images held in decorated altars.

 

Enchey Monastery is worth visting with a history 200 years old.

Gangtok-
is the capital of sikkim.
Namgyalk Institute of Tibetology is a structure that was built in a very tradtional architectural style. It promotes research on the language and tradtions of Tibet and Mahayana Buddhism. It holds a collection of exquisitely embroided "thangkas" in silk threads, rare manuscripts on Mahayana Buddhism and boats of one of the world's largest collection of books.

The Deer Park is situated on the edge of the ridge and is home to thousands of deer . A beautiful image of Lord Budha which infact is a replica of the Lord Buddha image at Sarnath , finds a place here.

The Orchid Sanctuary houses an astonishing 600 species of the rare and exotic orchid flower.
